1.Agreement
These Terms of Use apply to drivewisejournal.blog and any related content or services (the “Site”), published by DriveWise Journal (“the Journal,” “we”). Using the Site means you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 and a resident of the United States to use the quote-request service.
2.A publication and a referral service
The Journal publishes educational articles on auto insurance. At your request, it also operates a free referral service that passes your information to independent insurance providers, agents and marketers. We are not an insurer, agent, broker or financial adviser; we do not issue or price policies; and nothing on the Site is an offer of coverage or professional, legal or tax advice.
3.Articles are general information
Guides describe common practices. Laws, filing rules and insurer practices differ by state and company and change over time. Always confirm details with your insurer, your state department of insurance or a qualified professional before relying on anything you read here.
4.No guarantee of quotes, approval or savings
We do not promise that any partner will respond, that coverage will be available in your state, that you will be approved, or that you will save money. All pricing, eligibility and policy terms are set by the issuing insurer.
5.Independent partners
Companies in our classifieds or that contact you are independent. We do not control, endorse or take responsibility for their products, statements or conduct, and any contract you enter is between you and them. We may be paid by partners when you request information.
6.Your submissions and consent
You promise that the information you submit is accurate and belongs to you or that you have permission to provide it. By submitting the quote form and opting in, you authorise us and our partners to contact you as described in the Privacy Policy, including via automated calls and texts. Consent is not required to make a purchase.
7.Acceptable use
Do not scrape or copy the Site at scale, submit false requests, probe or disrupt the Site’s security, use automated tools to submit forms, or use the Site for unlawful purposes.
8.Intellectual property
Text, illustrations, layouts and marks on the Site belong to the Journal or its licensors. You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link. Any other reproduction needs our permission. Third-party names are the property of their owners and are used only for identification.
9.Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a purpose and non-infringement.
10.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Journal, its owners and contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Site or dealings with partners. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these may not apply to you.
11.Governing law, venue and arbitration
